Sign in, create account, and manage account access

Overview
Sign in securely to your NautilusTrader Pro account, create new accounts, reset passwords, and manage two-factor authentication.
Signing in
Standard login
- Navigate to the login page
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Click Sign In
Two-factor authentication login
If you have 2FA enabled on your account:
- Complete the standard login steps above
- You'll be redirected to the 2FA verification page
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
- Click Verify
Using Backup Codes:
If you don't have access to your authenticator app:
- Click Use backup code instead on the 2FA page
- Enter one of your saved backup codes
- Click Verify
Creating an account
Sign up process
- Click Sign Up on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- Complete the captcha verification
- Click Create Account
Note: Currently, the app is invite-only. Contact admin at support@nautilustrader.io for access.
Email verification
After signing up:
- Check your email inbox for a verification message
- Click the verification link in the email
- You'll be redirected to the login page
- Sign in with your new credentials
Resend Verification Email:
If you didn't receive the verification email:
- Go to your profile page after logging in
- Click Verify next to your unverified email
- Check your inbox for the new verification email
Password reset
Forgot password
- Click Forgot your password? on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Complete the captcha verification
- Click Send Reset Email
Reset your password
- Check your email for the password reset message
- Click the reset link in the email
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Confirm your new password
- Click Reset Password
You'll be redirected to the login page to sign in with your new password.
Account recovery
Deleted account recovery
If you've deleted your account within the last 90 days:
- Check your email for the account recovery message
- Click the recovery link
- Follow the prompts to restore your account
- Sign in with your previous credentials
Account locked
If your account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts:
- Wait for the lockout period to expire (usually 15 minutes)
- Try logging in again
- If still locked, use the password reset process
- Contact support if the issue persists
Security tips
Password security
- Use a minimum of 8 characters
- Include uppercase and lowercase letters
- Add numbers and special characters
- Don't reuse passwords from other accounts
- Consider using a password manager
Two-factor authentication
- Enable 2FA in your profile settings for enhanced security
- Use apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
- Never share your 2FA codes or backup codes
Account safety
- Always sign out when using shared computers
- Don't share your login credentials
- Report suspicious activity immediately
- Keep your email account secure (it's used for account recovery)
Troubleshooting
Common issues
"Invalid email or password"
- Double-check your email address for typos
- Ensure caps lock is off when typing your password
- Try the password reset process if needed
"Too many failed attempts"
- Wait 15 minutes and try again
- Use password reset if you're unsure of your password
"Account not found"
- Verify you're using the correct email address
- Check if you need an invitation (invite-only mode)
- Contact support if you believe this is an error
Email verification issues
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Ensure your email provider isn't blocking our emails
- Use the resend verification option
